American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Funding
The $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) was signed into law on March 11, 2021, to deliver relief to millions of Americans struggling with the economic crisis caused by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. ARPA includes a more than $350 billion allocation of Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (CSLFRF) to state, local, territorial, and tribal governments.
The City of Rocklin has been awarded just over $7 million to assist local businesses and non-profits in recovering from the pandemic, maintain vital services, increase the health and safety of residents, and more.
Growth Factory
The City of Rocklin has partnered with the Growth Factory to assist Rocklin small businesses with technical support and coaching. The Growth Factory Accelerator helps early-stage startups to rapidly progress from minimum viable product (MVP) to product market fit.
Beyond that, the Growth Factory works with them to build the funding case and leadership capacity to attract the capital and team needed to support scaling a high-growth company. The Growth Factory headquarters is right here in Rocklin on Granite Drive.
Sierra Small Business Development Center
The City works closely with the Sierra Small Business Development Center to provide no-cost access to capital, human resources, compliance, marketing, accounting, or any other business need. SBDC is your one-stop-shop for accelerating small business success.
