The Parks and Recreation Commission consists of five commissioners and one Youth Commissioner.  The Commission advises and makes recommendations to the City Council on matters regarding the long-term planning, acquisition and/or development of parks, and open space and trail systems. 

The Parks and Recreation Commission holds its regular meetings on the second Wednesday of each month at 6 p.m. in the City Council Chambers.  

Parks and Recreation Commission Vacancy:   ​1 seat 

The City of Rocklin is seeking to fill a partial two-year term for the position of Parks and Recreation Commissioner. 

General eligibility requirements: Rocklin residency and registered voter.

Please note: Appointed officials are required to disclose sources of income per the State of California Fair Political Practices Commission. Offers of appointment may require fingerprint clearance. Appointed officials are additionally required to complete ethics and sexual harassment prevention trainings.
