Solicitors Permit

The Rocklin Police Records Unit and other City of Rocklin departments issue permits and licenses for a variety of special uses, functions, and events. Some licenses and permits are also issued by local county and state offices.

Solicitors Permit Requirements

Every solicitor who wishes to go residence-to-residence in the City of Rocklin for sales, donations, pledges, etc. applicant must complete the following:

  • Complete a solicitor permit application
  • Read the City ordinance governing soliciting
  • Sign a form stating that they have read and understood the ordinance.
  • Furnish a copy of their City of Rocklin Business License

Application Process

To complete an application for a Solicitors Permit, complete the following steps:

  1. Fill out a Solicitor's Permit Application 
  2. Please include the following to upload with your application:
    • Current Business License or a statement setting forth the facts supporting a claim that the applicant’s proposed soliciting does not require a business license 
    • Recognized Government-Issued Photographic ID
  3. Start an application through our online eTRAKiT portal
  4. Upload the Solicitors Permit Application form and attachments to the portal
  5. Complete all remaining steps on the eTRAKiT portal
