Mary Jo Edmondson was honored in 2005 with a Ruhkala Award in the Individual/Couple category. Mary has dedicated herself to serving the Rocklin community, and describes her volunteerism in this way:

“Rocklin holds a special place in my heart, from my Chamber of Commerce days to currently … through Placer Valley Sunrise Rotary Club. Giving back to the community that has given so much to me and others is at the top of my list. Recently, our Rotary installed a bench in the Sunset Whitney Recreation Area in honor of Vince Amado! What a legacy that man left in Rocklin. Those are the things that make Rocklin amazing!”
