Whitney Ranch Retail Project; Weed Abatement; Ruhkala Awards
Whitney Ranch Retail Project
City of Rocklin Senior Planner Nathan Anderson presented City Council with details regarding the development of a Whitney Ranch Retail Center.
This project is proposing to construct a commercial shopping center consisting of ten buildings, totaling approximately 95,000 square feet. The center will be anchored by an approximately 44,000 square foot Nugget Market, which will be the first large grocery store in the Whitney Ranch area.

The City of Rocklin has announced an important selection of Veronica Tracy as its next Parks & Recreation Director, effective April 8. This selection fills a post that has been vacant since September 2023.

Spring Medication Take-Back Day
Multiple agencies taking back unwanted prescription drugs
On Saturday, April 27, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Rocklin Police Department and multiple agencies across western Placer County will help the public prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted medications.
