The best thing a pet owner can do to keep their animal healthy is to visit their veterinarian annually because prevention is the best medicine, says Dr. Alan White, Parkside Animal Hospital owner and veterinarian. The recently opened Rocklin business is a full service veterinary medical facility offering general veterinary services, surgical care and dental care to their pet patients.

Dr. White has been a resident of Rocklin for six years and was excited to relocate his business from Grass Valley to take advantage of Rocklin’s strong business community. White holds a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M University. He is also certified by the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association and the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society, and has studied traditional Chinese herbal therapies, all of which White uses to complement his treatment.

Parkside is located at 3221 Stanford Ranch Rd #100 and is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to  5 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon. Parkside also offers a half-price vaccination clinic the third Saturday of every month to make it that much easier for pet owners in our community to keep their animals healthy.
