New Website Helps Rocklin Connect with Community

Post

The City of Rocklin strives to provide the best public services possible for residents and communication is always an important factor in determining success.

Connecting with neighborhoods, the business community, and individual citizens facilitates the formation of partnerships and promotes the ability to address concerns before problems arise.

The easiest way to connect with or access information about the City of Rocklin is through the City’s website at www.rocklin.ca.us, which recently received a major update. The website is new and improved, with a modern design that offers access to a large amount of information in an easy-to-navigate portal.

“Our goal was to create a website that is much more user friendly than previous versions,” stated Troy Holt, the Director of City Commerce and Communications.  “The ‘I want to’ drop-down menu, as well as a prominent set of icons on the home page, direct visitors to frequently accessed content. In the era of smartphone usage, the site is mobile-friendly and the display responds to the type of device on which it is accessed.”

City staff and the City’s consultant Digital Deployment also hope the new site communicates the culture and lifestyle available in the Rocklin community, including beautiful public spaces, the highest commitment to safety, and a friendly business climate.
