In 2003, Camille Maben was awarded a Ruhkala Community Service Award for her years of service in the Rocklin Unified School District Board of Trustees.

Camille served on the school board during a time of immense growth in our city; 29 years in all. During her tenure, RUSD opened 15 new schools and attained recognition as one of the top performing districts in the State of California. She used her expertise in education to ensure that Rocklin students had access to a rigorous, student-centered educational experience.

Camille continues to give her time to our community in many ways, and currently serves on the board for the Rocklin Educational Excellence Foundation.
