Council Honors Scout Troop 29

Council approved a proclamation honoring the 100 Year Anniversary of Boy Scout Troop 29.

Boy Scout Troop 29 was established in 1924 to serve placer county and has met at various community buildings in Rocklin for the past seventy-five years, including the Finnish Temperance Hall and the Johnson-Springview Park community center. They have mentored over 5,000 youth and 175 Eagle Scouts and have participated in various community service projects around Rocklin. 

The proclamation will be presented to the troops at their upcoming event September 21, 2024. 

Annual Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report

Council adopted a resolution to submit the 2023 Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. The CAPER identifies programs and activities that the City undertook during the Program Year to meet the priority needs identified in the five-year Consolidated Plan. This report is completed on an annual basis. 

A draft of the PY 2023 CAPER was made available for public review on July 26, 2024.
