Rocklin Police Department’s Annual Report & Operational Outlook

Chief Rustin Banks with the Rocklin Police Department presented the 2024 Annual Report and operational outlook, detailing a year of successful community policing and strategic initiatives. The department continued to focus on enhancing public safety through key partnerships with local businesses, schools, and community organizations. Notably, Rocklin was ranked as one of the 2024 Top 10 Safest Cities in California, a testament to the effectiveness of these efforts.

The Police Department emphasized the importance of expanding community partnerships to address issues like retail theft, homelessness, and fentanyl awareness. The implementation of new technology, including the addition of six Automated License Plate Reader (ALPR) cameras, has played a crucial role in solving crimes and improving public safety.
