On February 28th, 2018 the City of Rocklin held its 1st Public Forum for the Sunset Whitney Recreation Area at the Rocklin Event Center.

Thank you to all of those who took the time to attend and provide their thoughtful feedback at the first Sunset Whitney Recreation Area (former golf course property) Forum.  The format of the forum was an “open house” setting with several different tables of information, many of which asked for input from attendees. With around 300 attendees, the input was tremendous!  Staff reviewed and summarized the input and presented findings to the Park, Recreation and Art Commission on March 14, 2018. This summary was also  shared with the public. The Commission is discussing next steps based on their review of community input.  The information found at the public forum was also posted online so that those who couldn’t attend were able to provide their thoughts and feedback
