Phase 1 includes 20-acres of the planned 40-acre park site. Once completed the park will include lighted sports fields for soccer, baseball, and softball, restrooms, pre-school-aged and school-aged playgrounds, picnic facilities, and a water playground. The water playground will operate daily during warm months of the year (click here for details).

An extensive pathway system and off-street parking lots are also included in the planning. This beautiful community park connects to Whitney High School by a bridge that spans over open space.

The two covered pavilions at Whitney Park can be reserved.
