The Quarry District is the heart of Rocklin, a place to live, work, and come together for the city’s most exciting events. The Quarry District hosts Rocklin’s annual Hot Chili And Cool Cars festival, each season of live music at Quarry Park Amphitheater, and the nation’s only adventure park built atop a former rock quarry at Quarry Park Adventures.

Johnson-Springview Park
Located in central Rocklin, this 132-acre park marks the northern edge of the Quarry District. Johnson-Springview Park is home to major recreation facilities including lighted baseball and softball fields, a soccer field, lighted tennis courts, an 18-hole disc golf course, a sand volleyball court, a roller hockey rink, a skate park, splash pads, and a children’s playground.
The park is also home to the Rocklin Community Center, the Parks and Recreation Department, and the RRUFF Dog Park, which serves small, large, and special needs dogs.

Peter Hill Heritage Park
Peter Hill Heritage Park is located in historic downtown Rocklin on both sides of Rocklin Road, near Front Street. The park features a Train Roundhouse replica, the reconstructed “Old Firehouse”, historic Old St. Mary’s Church, and a public fruit tree orchard.

Finnish Temperance Hall
The Finnish Temperance Hall was built in 1905 by the Finnish Temperance Society. It functioned as a social hub for the immigrant community, hosting graduations, dances, fraternal meetings, and other social functions. It was built with local granite donated by Finnish quarry owners.
Today, Finn Hall is home to the year-round Rocklin Community Theater.

Train Depot
The Rocklin Train Depot is located off Rocklin Road and Railroad Ave. Built in 2006 at the location of the city’s old station, the new station’s style drew on historic 19th and early 20th-century depots, featuring a stone veneer finish, a gabled ceiling, and a prominent clock tower.
The depot is Amtrak Station RLN on the Capitol Corridor. The station is also home to the Rocklin Chamber of Commerce and has rooms available for community meetings.

Civic Center
The Quarry District is home to the Rocklin City Hall, the Historic City Hall, Administration Services, the Police Department, and Fire Station 23. These are the folks who are proud to serve you and will keep Rocklin running smoothly and safely.

Fire Station 23
Fire Station 23 is home to the Fire Administration office. The station houses a Type 1 Structure Engine, a Type 3 Wildland Engine, a Breathing Support Unit, and the Fire Department’s first piece of motorized apparatus, a 1936 Dodge VanPelt Pumper.
